Bovington 2 has been operated as a fishery by CAPS since 1991 when we secured the fishing rights. Since then numerous stocking have resulted in a great variety of fish to catch. Carp and Tench are there main focus of attention with a good number of specimen fish to over 35lb. Whilst the number of double figure Tench is not as high as it once was, they are still in residence. In February of 2018 the club refreshed the stock with a dozen VS Fisheries Carp. These fish were between 8 & 19lb and are a mixture of linears, leathers, heavily plated mirrors etc.
All Year without a close season, subject to change at any time.
