Club announcement - we have some good news. In line with our stated strategy over recent years, the club have just taken ownership of a lake in Rowhedge. This is extremely exciting and helps secure the future of the club for decades to come. The lake is around 3 acres and has been stocked for well over 20 years.
We have tried to acquire other lakes in recent years but never been able to get them over the line. However, on this one, we managed it.
You will hear lots more about this lake in the coming weeks so bare with us whilst we move this forward. Huge thanks to the committee for making this happen, along with Martin Freeman of Fenn Wright for supporting the process and the Prior family for selling it to us.
The lake, in honour of our former chair and long supporter of the Club will be named Upshers Lake.
