Coronavirus 2nd lockdown

05/11/2020 - Latest News

All, Angling Trust have today 5th Nov  issued formal guidance following the move into the Second Lockdown. The updated guidance can be found below. We ask that all CAPS members observe these guidelines as Angling is one of the few outdoor activities that have been allowed in this second lockdown and we want to ensure we can continue to enjoy our sport in these strange times.
In line with the guidance all Club matches have been cancelled whilst current restrictions are in place.

🚦GREEN LIGHT FOR ANGLING🚦

Now that Parliament has passed the Coronavirus Regulations and following consultation with the DCMS and the Cabinet Office, Sport England have published a series of FAQs on what is permissible during the current lockdown. As we explained yesterday you may leave home to fish with members of your own household, your support bubble or with one other individual. See below for the Sport England announcement on allowable activities and travel.
