| Description | The River Colne here at Fordham offers both shallow and deep running glides where the chub and dace hange out in particular. This section of the Colne was acquired for the club for the 2003 / 04 season. |
| Opening Times | Subject to EA regulations and close season. Fishing is only between June 16th and March 14th inclusive. |
| Toilets | No toilet facilities are provided by the club. |
| Water Size | Approximately 1.5 miles of river. |
| Disabled Details | No disabled swims are available as long walks are in order with this venue. |
| Directions | To gain access via Cooks Mill lane drive down the lane, as you get to the bottom of the hill, there is (or was) a house on the left hand side. I haven't been there this year but I believe that the original house may be being replaced. However, just before the property is a gate into a field. This entrance is owned by the landowner of our fishing, and, despite what the householder may say, you can park there. Having entered the field, you skirt the field boundary until you can cross a fence into the bankside field with the sign indicating the downstream limit of fishing. |
