Description

Bovington 1 has been operated as a fishery by CAPS since 1987 when we secured the fishing rights. During the initial stocking this water recieved numerous silver fish in the 1oz - 4oz brackets. These fish have subsequently flourished and year on year more and more roach, rudd, bream and perch are being reported, also the odd Specimen Crucian carp has been known to be caught. 21 large common carp, some in excess of 20lbs where stocked in Febuary 2009. Carp to over 30lb are present with persistant rumours of one fish that has now broken the 40lb barrier.
