3 Para back at West Mersea

On 18th November 3 Para will be doing the second of their 60 mile (100k) marches, this all part of  their efforts to raise funds for their charity The Afghan Trust. The event will also used to help raise awareness of this charity, which supports the soldiers of the Parachute Regiment who have been injured while on tour in Afghanistan, it also financially assist the families of those soldiers who did not return.
Our Car Park at West Mersea, with the kind consent of the owner, will be used again as the base for the 60 soldiers taking part. Providing a rest area, somewhere for food and drink to be taken and facilities for a change of socks. This will be from Wednesday evening to Thursday Night.

Money is still coming in so the amount raised from the last march is not know yet.
